Why Dont We Photograph On Speculation?

This is the concept that stands behind the success of Glossy Finish with action and sports photography more than any other. Never shoot on speculation! In other words, you should only shoot subjects who have prepaid for your services. Anything else is almost always a waste of your time. Once you accept this simple concept, you’ll be in a good position to make consistent money from action photography.

We demarcate our prepaid athletes by having them place bands around their cleats so we can easily identify them on the field. This way we can have an additional method of recognizing them other than uniform, number and name. Remember we only shoot the athletes who have prepaid and are wearing bands even if another (potentially great) shot presents itself. Always stay focused on your customer and their needs. They are the ones paying you to be there!
